Our customer needed a practical way to maintain dangerous goods information for items with all (legally) necessary data, such as Technical name, UN & ADR codes, PG-class and limited quantities. This solution allows them to maintain the necessary information with low effort.
Common denominators can be grouped under a single Dangerous Goods Category, and item specific data such as technical name, is given on the item. Technical names, ADR Classes and Technical names are maintained in corresponding lists.
The solution is used as a part of the shipping process, where the information is passed down to the shipping agents.
